OblivionRora
Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out... I tried to look on many different sites but could not find anything, so I was hoping to find a modder here that is able to make a conversion from HGEC to DMRA. The armor I would like too convert is : https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42646 , the Archmage Sorceress by Cenobite. I do not intent to release it later, it is just for personal use only. If someone out here could do this, I would be very grateful. Thank you for your time reading this. Hope to hear from someone soon ^^'
Pellape
I guess you can do it your self easy with any Robe that belongs to DMRA. Use Nifskope and load any DMRA Mesh (nif) into it.Click the robe and open up the NifTextureProperty for it on the left side of NifskopeChange the texture path either by hand or by click the purple flower.Chose that dds you wanna use and save Import the new mesh with CS or CSE Nifskope is found here: https://github.com/niftools/nifskope/releases If you get into any problems doing this, we sort them out. How to use CS and CSE is found here: https://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Main_Page I do not use DMRA, so I cannot help you with this simple task... ;) It is so simple that everyone is able to do this. It is also the first thing I learned about modding 2004. Exchanging textures on stuff and make it work easy. I will try to read more tutorials ans give it a second go. =(^.^)=
LFact
To convert armor, you may need 3D modelling tool, such as blender. And there was a set of tools called 'KGTools' which generates lattices and convert outfits for different body types.

Pellape
If DMRA and HGEC uses the same UV mapping, Nifskope is all you need. If not, then you will have a bloody hell... UV is where on the model the Texture will end up at. Well just click the Robe inside Nifscope, open the NiTriShape and the the NiTextureproperty and change the Texture, the DDS file and see what happens. OblivionRora
So I tried messing around with with both apps but my results were... abysmal. If someone with the knowledge and the time read this, I would be very grateful if they can convert the armor
Pellape
I do not understand really... But try to follow this picture: What can be confusing is that an object inside a NIF is either a NiTriShape or a NiTriStrips at the top... I forgot to mention that. So Click at the robe, look on the left side and do what I did there... Open up the tree structore for each object. One Nif have 1 to loads of objects... Click the Purple Flower Edited March 13, 2022 by Pellape
kingtitan
So I tried messing around with with both apps but my results were... abysmal. If someone with the knowledge and the time read this, I would be very grateful if they can convert the armor The upperbody mesh is already DMRA (or so close that converting it would be pointless). The greaves on the other hand - try this out: https://www.mediafire.com/file/sl85rgnzqekl9cs/ArchSorc-greavesDMRA.nif/file Due to the way that the gauntlets and boots work, I didn't worry about those either; it didn't look like they needed to be converted.
