Sweet! Got my Starfield Constellation Edition pre-ordered! Now watch it take 5 days to ship once it's released (it comes with 5 days early access for those who didn't know).

Any bets on how long after the game goes live (early access) it'll take to see the first Starfield mod show up on Nexus?

"Unofficial Starfield Patch" should be the priority LOL

What was the deciding factor for you when going for the Constellation Edition? The watch quality could go either way.

I'm not seeing where the Constellation Edition can be purchased, maybe sold out?

Couple of things made me decide to get it, actually, but probably not for the reasons you might be interested in, like the watch quality, function, etc.

My main reason is my son - he's turning 21 this year and there's a lot of things we don't do together anymore, but we still like to play the same types of video games; sometimes we'll play together, but more often singularly, then compare notes and show off achievements. I'm a huge Bethesda games fan (they've always been my favorites) but have never been able to talk my son into playing one of them - until now. I've got him hooked on wanting to play Starfield almost as much as I want to play it. He's so excited about it that he said he'd order the Constellation Edition if I would - so we did.

Another reason I got the CE package is that it's a sure bet. Even If I end up hating the watch, there will be so many people who will want it and not be able to get it, it'll be easiy to sell it and get that part of my money back out of it. Honestly thought I don't think that will happen. I still play either Fallout or Skyrim (I flip-flop between them) a couple times a month, even after all these years, and I think Starfield will keep me interested just as long, so I expect my pleasure in owning the watch will stay high, as well. Even so, it was still something I considered before buying the package.

I guess what it really comes down to is the watch was the main draw, obviously, but mainly because for at least a little while, my son and I will be walking around wearing the same watch, geeking out over what we've discovered in the game, sharing tips and tricks, and bragging about what we accomplished that day. I think $300 is a cheap price for those kind of memories.

I've embarked on a captivating journey through the vast realms of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim for years now, continually enchanted by the sheer craftsmanship of our revered modding maestros. Their innovations have been the reason why, to this day, I haven't seen the end credits of Skyrim; I find myself irresistibly drawn to start anew, eager to explore the fresh dimensions each mod unfolds.

This community, including those who have stepped away from the nexus or left us, holds a special place in my heart. Your dedication and creativity resonate not only in Tamriel but also through the worlds of Fallout 4, Witcher 3, and many others like Stardew Valley, leaving an indelible mark that millions, including myself, are immensely grateful for.

From the straightforward bat files to sophisticated overhauls (special shoutout to those who brought multiplayer to Skyrim), each addition has been a testament to the wonders of gaming evolution. Having been a gamer since the Atari era, I stand in awe of our journey from those pixelated days to today's rich, immersive adventures. Any grievances fade away when you witness this monumental evolution.

As I step into my 50s, with life's unpredictability ahead, I want to pause and extend my deepest gratitude to this incredible community. Thanks to you, gaming has been an exhilarating, unforgettable voyage. From the depths of my heart, thank you for all the memories, the magic, and the sheer fun. Here's to you all, and to many more timeless gaming moments!

I earnestly hope to experience the wonders of ES6. Starfield mods will likely eat up what lifetime I have left. Perhaps this time, I might even see a Bethesda game to the end. But if fate decides otherwise, know that I cherished every moment of the journey!

Congratulations Bethesda, Half the people in Starfied are so ugly, that the game, as measured by the mod download and comment levels, is dying. It reminds me of a story Patrick tells SpongeBob, in the "Sunday" episode: "Once upon a time there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The End."
