SkittlesAreYum
So SkyUI and its favorites menu is working great for me, except for one issue: I can't figure out how to create a group. If I click on a group at the bottom of the favorites menu it shows as empty. How do I add things to it? I've tried pressed the group hotkey (F1) while mousing over a spell, but that does nothing at all. I tried rebinding the group hotkey and still no luck. Am I missing something here? Lanceor
After pressing 'F' to start choosing a group, use 'A' and 'D' to highlight the group you want. Once the group that you want is highlighted, press "E' to select it. Later on, if you want to manage the groups, you can press 'SPACE' to view the contents of each group. I had F bound to "strafe right", and I assumed it would still work for favorites. I was wrong!

NexTextGorilla
Same problem help!!!If you are still having problems, go to YT & search for"Skylight 12 (Skyrim Mod Preview) : SkyUI v4"a video by Gopher. It should explain everything. I was having problems with this as I had the F key bound to strafe as well. Changed the groups key to V. Works great. Elizinator
im having this exact problem, but the advice given simply does not make any sense, i have controls set to default, so i go into the favourites menu, mouse over the item i want to put into a group, hit 'f", and . . . nothing happens. nothing at all. so i remap the group button to 'v', enter the favourites menu, mouse over the item i want to put into a group, hit 'v', and . . . nothing happens. nothing at all. repeat with 'g'. what am i doing wrong? watching the video suggested above, i definitely see one problem: that favorites menu is not even close to the one i see. the one *I* see is full-screen, pauses the game when opened, has all sorts of columns and categories, and no option for groups. Tajjara
You need to click which group you want to add it to after you hit f.
Kriiks
@Elizinator, you must be using some kind version of Categorized Favorites Menu over SkyUI. SKyUI own favourites menu still looks same as in Gophers video, its never changed. If you want SkyUI original version, you have to deactivate Categorized Favorites. sean2a
QUESTION. I might be missing something, but I can't find anyone else that asked this question or I'm not describing it right. I am trying to use bind different things to the same key but in different groups. This would seem to be the vast benefit of having groups. But for some reason, binding something a key in one group unbinds that key in another. In a normal control menu or a single group, that would make sense as you can't have the same key bound twice, but why can't I bind the same key to different uses in different groups???
