GETbacon Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 Euro Truck Simulator 2 is becoming a darling amongst those that like sheer comfort from gaming, and some decided to do a little something for the game. Mods are coming out daily but the sites that offer them might not be called the most scrupulous. Some don't have enough user-base to offer good feed back on mods or have download methods that could lead to viruses. So, I suggest that we open a Section for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It could spur higher quality content and I'm sure people would appreciate such a reputable source for mods to offer the service to it. thebigbadonion Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 I absolutely agree 100%, having used this site for some time for the Elder Scrolls games, I've always found the lack of anywhere decent for ets 2 a crying shame. The game is becoming more and more popular, and is such a great game for modding. Yet no site really exists. The best site we have is modsaholic, and it simply isn't well known enough Since playing that game I've even gotten in to making mods my self (mostly skins, but I've dabbled in other mods) Yet I find it frustrating as a mod author, that I have no proper place to host my files, and as a user. amd gamer, no proper place to find good files. Nexus is renowned throughout the gaming community, especially the bethesda games for its excellent feature set, and safe mod hosting. I hope one day the admins of this site will have a good look at ETS 2, and the ETS2 community, and push this one. After a few days of games sitting there with 0 published files I remove them from the admin panel without accepting them. thebigbadonion Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Ok, what I'm going to do, rather than let the game appear then be removed, or upload my few mods, is get a bit more support from the ETS2 modders first. But if your willing to just let people upload ETS 2 mods, I'll try to get a few good mod authors to all use the site.
