Jawert
Hello, im doing a simple scaling adjustment of Deathclaws on their stats page in the GECK and for some reason they end up having 5,000+ HP. Does anyone know why? Im using a PC scale level multiplier of 1.0x which is standard. And CalcMin and CalcMax are also in standard ranges. 20min-99max My character level is only level 30, so the Deathclaw should not be over level 30. Seems like its either very overleveled or the HP is not scaling correctly. The only two reasns I can think of are perhaps the min-max fields are reversed, or the base HP is being culminatively multiplied. But I am unsure of how to proceed. Mktavish
Well I believe they can end up with a 400% health increase between you being on VeryHard difficulty setting , and if they are spawned by a leveled creature that is set to Boss on the Reference Object . But do you have another mod adjusting stuff ? ... like maybe the fDiffMult settings ?
Jawert
yes im playing a custom fDiffMult on normal with 1.5 on ByPCN, and 3.0 on ToPCN just a simple esp file, checked in xedit.clean simple fDiffMult and no other game changes. but also running a few other larger mods, like YUP, and Simply Uncut Edited March 28, 2022 by Jawert
Radioactivelad
Diffmult is just a damage scaler, it doesn't affect health directly, or any visible numbers for that matter. The two most obvious questions I can think of are- 1. What did you set the Deathclaw's base health at? In vanilla, they have 500 or so. They actually need around 5000 base health to make it to 5000+ ranges because Level doesn't actually give that much hp. 2. What do you mean "other larger mods"? Despite the ordering of these questions, the first thing you should check when the game isn't doing what you expect is if one of your mods is doing something you weren't aware of. Jawert
no the base HP is unchanged and is at 500HP, which is why im puzzled at the deathclaw health being so high, at around 5,000HP and im not running any other large mods besides the ones I listed.. the only thing i could think of which may potentially effect the HP as far as any mods are concerned, is YUP, as i havent really examined everything which that mod changes.so its a bit of a mystery for me
