LE Gloves with Gauntlets

You can currently only wear one or the other, so say you have magic tuning gloves and you have imperial steel gauntlets.

 

Despite not covering the hands you cannot wear the gloves along with the gauntlets. I would like to see a mod that allows players you wear gauntlets [ones that fit anyway] over gloves.

That would be simple but time consuming.

First, all the gauntlet nifs would need to be examined to ensure that their assigned body slot was the forearm rather than the hand.

Second, all the gauntlet armor & armor addon forms would need to be examined and edited as necessary to not include the hand slot

Third, all glove armor & armor addon forms would need to be examined and edited as necessary to ensure that they do not include the forearm slot

Fourth, all glove nifs would need to be examined to ensure that their assigned body slot was the hand rather than the forearm.

Fifth, patches as needed for any mod and/or DLC gear.

 

A simple 5 step plan for anyone who wants to do it. I certainly don't :P

The link is a tutorial in regards to assigning meshes to non-replacing body slots. That won't necessarily help you. What will is the walk through in regards to where to look in the nif file, the armor form and the armor addon form for the assigned body slot(s). The pictures help too.

I dont ever remember any gloves in the game rather than the tuning gloves. Can you remind me of a few?
