" Failed to set game mode "

Hello , i cant activate SSE it gives me 2 errors saying
" Deployment not possible : Cant write to output directory "
and
" Failed to set game mode Skyrim "
SetupError: Missing: C:\Games\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\data
I've reinstalled both skyrim through steam again and vortex even used MO2 but nothing happens.
No my game isnt pirated , all the skyrim data is present in the steamapps/common/Skyrim SE.

don't use vortex and mo2 - choose one stick with it.

If your game isn't pirated, you should upset your game path under the "Games" tab so that it's pointing to the correct folder.

Just to maybe clarify a bit, "C:\Games\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\data" is not a valid path for unpirated Skyrim.

Like Picky said, click Games, then the plus sign on Skyrim. "Manually set location", giving the full path,

which includes "Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim".

If your game was not downloaded from Steam - we can't help you here.
