REAL Martial Arts mod?

Ok, Hand-toHand is basically like boxing in Morrowind.

But what Id like is a Martial Arts mod. I have heard mods with Combos, like punch punch kick jump, no. I dont mean like that.

I mean like holds, take downs, disarming weapons, hitting pressure points for maximum damage, kicks, BLOCKS (In most martial arts you are learned how to block knives)

So stuff like, if someone takes a stab at you, or a swing at you, you have a certain chance to 1.) block it 2.)Grab his arm, then you can do a punch kick etc. and 3.) Dodge it 4.) get hit by it.

And how about holds like, if you successfully sneak up on someone, do the hold, like a headlock, or arm lock etc. you can effectively grab him and put him down, and either tie him up or just knock him out cold and kill him.

Any good mods like that?

Like Slaiv said the morrowind engine just can't handle it. Morrowind isn't the best when it comes to fighting so there isn't much you can do about that. Hopefully on a side note oblivion will contain better fighting styles.

Try a search for Morrowind Advanced. I have that mod installed on my other computer and it kicks heiny. The you can cut arms and heads off, impale people with knives and spears and leave the weapon sticking in them. You can disarm, etc. Oh...and you can go into rage and trance modes which are kind of like bullet time only with rage you litterally mow through people. I charged three ordinators once and in, like, four strikes I had killed them all and sent several pieces of armor flying off. It was really sweet because all those items were still in the air when I turned around to look back.

Unfortunately I don't think the mod is compatible with every version of the game. I don't think it works with anything but the basic Morrowind game...not Tribunal or Blood Moon.

I saw an early video for this mod, captured with some tool or other. It looked surprisingly good, but i lost track (Read; interest) with it after i stopped playing MW so much. Too bad that it has compatibility issues, but like Chaosmaker said, Oblivion will contain (according to Bethsoft) much better fighting models. I doubt the hand-to-hand model will get such an overhaul, but it might happen. Only the release will tell.

morrowinds hand to hand combat was pretty good on its own but like slaiv had said the engine was made to have those three basic types and having arm abrs and stuff would be a lot more complicated because the models would have to react like that moving and falling to the ground

Oblivion will be using its own engine, but what you say is similar to what MEMOD were going to do, i think. I remember Daerk saying he wanted to license the X-Ray engine from Stalker (which looks great, just waiting for it to be released), which is similar to the CRYENGINE.
