Slow download speed on nexus and vortex

I reinstalled fallout 4 the other day and went to download mods. The download speed for it was very low, generally going 320kbps. I'm not a premium member but downloads should not be going that slow. I've downloaded mods in the past without issue.

I have same issue. Tried all servers, loading speed peaks at 300Kbs, drops to 50kbs

I have 1gbit internet (1000mbs)

usually I can download at around 6000kbs (6mbs)

Unfortunately it looks like your ISP offers a limited connection to our free servers. You could try using a VPN and see if that helps, however, many users in Aus get bad connections to any of the servers in EU/USA regardless of VPN.

Please don't hijack another user's thread. There's a pinned topic in this forum with troubleshooting advice, start there and post a new thread with your results - just as the OP has done.

Oh well. Just have to go and do something else while mods download. :sad:

Rogue, I don't know if this will help you or not. it most definitely WON'T, if your country blocks cloudshare.

But try adding their free DNS to your internet settings, so that your ISP doesn't know that you're trying to DL from nexus.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. I get a slightly higher ping rate (5-10 depending on time of day) but my DL speeds are pretty much what they normally are.
