Arturiousrye
In order to gain access to the player.add items and the infinite ammo, Fallout 3 requires one to access the console via ~. However, no matter how many times I press ~ nothing occures. The odd thing is that Oblivion has the same issue. Legal copies both modded and running as Administrators on Vista. Can you help? Michlo
Grab the Little Boy app and then you can set your own key for it. Cheers.
bben46
Usually caused by Infrared being on. On a Media center type computer just unplug the IR. On a laptop you need to go in and disable the IR.
Skotte
Also the codes can be off-screen if a non-widescreen resolution is used C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Fallout.ini look for iConsoleTextXPos (default is 30) & change it to 200 or more

Arturiousrye
Nevermind. Spoke too soon. I got the version that is avaliable on the nexus but that version doesn't include console key binding once installed. All I have under options is "Disablle Intro," "Disable G4WL," "Archive" and "Close hot key."

white_dragoon_x
in your fallout 3 folder (i think) there should be a configuration file open it and look for a line that says console and change it to 1 and then it should work. (i intentionally disabled it because i became addicted to using that button to make me walk through walls and unlock doors.) if it doesnt work then im stumped because i have found if it should be in a game and its not its probably a messed up configuration file. rolsku
For me it was the infrared issue, and just unplugging infrared doesn't work, you need to uninstall the drivers. Go to control panel -> Device manager/View devices -> Human Interface Devices -> Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver(for me atleast) and Remove/uninstall it. Hope it helped :)
