Gorgopis
We have investigated the Spell Tomes, which advance Magic Skills by one level, but we cannot figure out how these work. Online tutorials about making spells and enchantments don't seem to address this, but maybe we need to refine our search terms? Thanks!
IsharaMeradin
In the CK open your custom book.Near the top left you should see "Teaches" with radial buttons "Skill" and "Spell".Select "Skill".The drop down immediately below will populate with available skills.Select the skill you want to use. Gorgopis
Thank you. Which leads to new questions. 1. We were curious about the scripts/game-mechanics that cause the game to tabulate these skill-advancements, and then advance the player by one skill-point in a Skill-Tree, and whether it was possible to add such a script to different items other than to spell tomes? (We tried adding ten new Spell Tomes, but it was disappointing, though it worked, and it seemed clumsy, when something more elegant is likely available.) 2. Or, perhaps a skill-advancement could be applied by finishing a custom-quest? 3. A Fail: We tried making a custom NPC-Enchanting-Master-Trainer, following the Wiki Tutorial, but our new Trainer says something in-game like, "I have nothing more I can teach you," though our in-game player-character level was only level 24 in Enchanting or so. Hoping. . . .
IsharaMeradin
AdvanceSkill increases a skill line by a designated amount of "points" which may not increase a skill's level. IncrementSkill increases a skill line to the next skill level.
