Rl3 Extra Dialogue Options?

OK, I downloaded the RL3 Covert Ops mod to finally make him look cool and wort having, but I hate it that the first thing he pulls out in a fight is his Rifle, I mean like i'd like to see him use his flamer more often.

SO I thought perhaps somebody could make a dialogue option, just like other Followers, the I'd like you to switch tactics option, but instead of melee and a ranged weapon we can choose between the flamer and laser rifle?

That would be pretty cool right?

I'm sorry for bothering you all with this question, but honest to god I wouldn't have a clue as where to even start doing this >.>, A link to a good tut would be appreciated ^.^

He's not a default gutsy though, he has follower scripts like any other follower. His flamer and plasma rifle are both seperate too in his inventory, so you should be able to tell him which to use (though knowing what this game is like with things like this he'd probably still end up using the plasma rifle more or less exclusively simply because it's more powerful). On the other hand..... it would probably be possible to attach a script to him that would remove the ammo for his weapon when you tell him to use the other one, then if you talk to him and issue an order to switch back to the other weapon, the script would add the ammo back and remove the other ammo type, thereby forcing him into using a particular weapon.

 

I may take a look at that tomorrow sometime, though I make no promises.
