Clean up empty directories

hello

i tried this option to "Clean up empty directories" and it works fine when you uninstall mods
but i noticed that it works only with mods that is uninstalled After you enable this option
it doesn't Clean up empty directories that existed before you enabled this option, even after redeployment
is this intentional behavior ?

yup.

there's nothing stopping you manually removing those directories, but if you do that on mods that aren't uninstalled, you will get warnings out of vortex.

 

edited to add - you could also try to reinstall the mod - if you have delete empty directories enabled, this may provoke the empty directory clean up you're after?

If the directory is no longer in the deployment list for Vortex (i.e. it doesn't put files in that folder anymore) it won't automatically clean it up, if I recall correctly.
