What base game texture do I need for a custom npc skin texture?

Like, to extract from the base game files. I just want to make a custom npc/race with facepaint.

data/textures/characters/(insert gender)/headhuman.dds. This can be checked by looking at any facial texture mod. Just look in "Preview file contents" on the mod download page.
