ElCjango
Hello Iain! Sorry, I don't have a ps4 but I do own an Xbox so I may be able to help you a bit. What sort of mods are you looking for? Also, when will you be receiving your ps4?

ElCjango
Ok cool. For mods to make Npcs look better, I would suggest Beauties of Skyrim HD for females and Definitive Male Beauty Pack for males. Mind you, DMBP may cause some crashes in spots depending on how many other texture mods you include in your load order. Towns and City overhauls can cause alot of CTDs but if you insist on using them, you can look into JKs Skyrim. It'll spruce the look of the city's up a bit. For weapon overhauls you can check out Old Kingdoms overhauls. They have one for both weapons and armors that'll provide new textures and variations. You can also try out Heavy Armory. It'll add weapons such as spears, halbards, shortswords, etc, to levelled lists of each metal type. You can also try my personal favorite Amidianborn Book of Silence which retextures all vanilla armors and weapons with a fresh, new, updated look and its very easy on the system. For quests you can try Forgotten City, Project AHO, or Falskaar. I don't use quest mods so I can't really help with that but those are all top reviews mods. For perk systems you can try Ordinator, Vokrii, or Adamant. I use Ordinator and its great but if you want a simpler one try out Vokrii. Skyland AIO is probably the best landscape overhaul available but it takes up a giant amount of space. It covers pretty much everything and will make the game look brand new especially if you pair it with a lighting mod such as ELFX. And for water you can try Realistic Water or Cathedral Water. I use Cathedrals apart of a bundle and its great. Let me know if you need help with anything else. I may reply late but I will reply!
showler
Please remember this is for PS4. No new textures/meshes are possible. Mods can only be downloaded through the in-game mod menu.
ElCjango
Oh man your right showler. I forgot Sony doesn't allow external assets. My best advice Iain would to be to log on to bethesda.net and look thru the available mods and see what you may like and I can assist you with organizing your load order. ElCjango
Also, you can check this link out for a start. It has great information for ps4 users! https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/aha3g2/suggested_ps4_mods_revised/
showler
My suggestion would be to wait until you have the game and then try Discord or here again. You'll need to set up a Bethesda.net account and find some mods you like. People will be able to help you with that as you do it.
