Uploading a collection

If I install a mod on Vortex using the install from file method will this mod work when i upload it as part of a collection?

i.e. Will the mod be installed for the collection user as it would if I'd added it using the mod manager download?

I've searched for an answer to this but had no luck. Thanks

As long as it is a file from Nexus Mods and you set up the source, game and mod IDs it should get downloaded like any other mod on the site.

 

The absence of the Vortex button on the page will not prevent it from being download via the API.
