Yes, just edit the Attributes of the mod.

(But you need to know the "User ID" of the person you'd like to add.)

People can find their own User ID by going to the "User Area" of any of the mod sites:

Thank you both, I thought this was the way to do it but I recently got added to a mod page as I am doing some work on it and the only thing that changed was my name was highlighted in the comment area which is why I was a bit confused.

He has added your ID correctly. Make sure you're on the "manage files you have access to" page and not on the "manage files" page i.e. this page.

Just as an aside on this guys, I was added to another author's Mod recently as he wasn't supporting it any more but was willing to allow me to update it for him.

It's really quite difficult to do from that position instead of the fairly straightforward editing of your own Mods. I normally hide my Mods whilst I'm updating files, but when I did this on his Mod, I couldn't access the Mod anymore as it was hidden, so I had to unhide the Mod and mess with the files "live".

Any chance this process could be made a little easier?

That's really an entirely different question that needs it's own thread, rather than derailing this one. We know it could be easier but this year is all about making the sites actually work, and not about functionality.
