ebondark
I have tried several different Clover mods and for some reason have been unable to alter her appearance. I did a little research and it appears I'm not alone in this problem: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...5&hl=clover http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...5&hl=clover http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...5&hl=clover I've tried this trick "You need to change the bInvalidateOlderFiles in the FALLOUT.INI-file, wich is located here: My Documents/My Games/Fallout3" I've tried blast back clover, cute clover, dimonized clover and nothing is working. I'm definately not a modder myself (not due to lack of skill but lack of any amount of artistic or creative talent) but I can follow instructions fairly easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Skotte
Changing the hair of a Vanilla NPC is doable though it gets a bit tricky if you try adding hair from a mod. but the fact that none of the "clover" mods are working makes me wonder if there is a conflict in your load order. try loading one of the "Clover" mods close to if not last & see if it works. If you don't have it yet this would be a good time to get FOMM. And Welcome to the Nexus
ebondark
Yeah definitely have FOMM ... I thought having the load order earlier would be better I'll try later and see if that helps! Thanks for the quick reply.
TGBlank
If another mod is modifying clover you won't see the changes, if you load the clover makeover later you won't see the changes of the other mod. The only way to make this work is to go jack the ripper with fo3edit on the file. Not recommended if you don't know what you're doing, and highly recommended to backup. ebondark
Luckily Skotte nailed it. Load order ... later loaded files take precedence. I had the exact opposite mis-understanding. Good piece of knowledge to know. I'm hoping I can apply that to some of the other minor issues I've noticed ever so often. And kuddos to both of you for the great help.
