really? I'm using Mozilla right now, and it's far faster than my Explorer.

Dez, the discussion is about what the OP wrote and they wrote about armour mods being ridiculously sexy for females.

 

I actually wrote that I DID like a lot of them but can't see my character wearing them and that there's very little options for females to choose from when it comes to armour since 99% of the armour mods for females look like bimbo lingerie. Which is fine for the right occasion but not for fighting monsters etc...

If you don't agree with my opinion that's just fine but don't go telling me what I ought to be doing because I'm writing in keeping with the OP's comments and not going around telling everyone to think as I think or just don't think at all.

Thanks for your input though. It was inspiring.

My disbelief extends to pretty much the whole game. Almost nothing in the game is even semi realistic, and I guess I don't have the imagination to find any of it believable! When I swing a sword at a guy wearing gothic plate and it actually hurts him, I roll my eyes. Yeah, I find it really difficult to get immersed in games for this reason.

 

It's also the reason why adding eye candy to the game does nothing to the integrity of the experience for me - the experience has no integrity to begin with. I'm probably not the only one who thinks this way.

Isra, I understand what you mean. But I like the fantasy part of it also. I'm blissfully ignorant when it comes to the real historical facts of the time and facts of when this all supposedly takes place and the how and what of weapons. So, I'm more into the superficial aspect of it. Being a cool warrior, saving the world from destruction and going to explore different caves, ruins, forts, provinces and natural settings.

 

All I'm saying is I wish there was a little more choices when it comes to armour for women where mods are concerned. I don't mind the sexy ones, if that's what some want than go for it and enjoy but there's so much of it-it's overkill. I'd wear some of them as clothes around town and some around certain men my character would love to seduce if the game would let her...

I actually like sexy armour styles but isn't there a way to get sexy armor that still covers everything up? Like that sneak armour mod from AlexScorpion. It's all black and it covers everything up, nothing hangs out at all but it's very sexy. Now you're letting out my secrets, that outfit has the best high heel boots in Oblvion, CHUNKY HEELS. That's the ticket.

 

But the body on that outfit is too bulky for my taste, I prefer a thinner muscular girl, and I'm basing my ideal on a real life girl, a weight training fitness model friend of mine who advises me on my own fitness routine. A lot of the female modders make mostly mens outfits, some of the female modders prefer to make skimpy outfits (like Colourwheel, who many would be floored to learn is a BEAUTIFUL GIRL) and Dezdimona, who prefers lingerie style armor.

 

If you turn to Heavy Metal Fantasy inspired warrior art you will find most popular western illustrators have envisioned the warrior woman armor as incredibly skimpy. So I think you can understand the concept that influences the male modders that aren't inspired by anime which influences most of the eastern warrior illustration art.

 

AS for the "history", there is no history. Nirn isn't a real planet, they did not have Queen Elizabeth, Shakespeare, the Roman Catholic church or anything else that historically defines our real life medieval period. It is all a fantasy. Therefore any calls for "realism" strike me as pretty idiotic.

I knew it wasn't a real time and place but I thought it was based on the European Middle Ages and the like? Maybe I just thought that up on my own.

Yeah, realism would be idiotic in the game. Who needs realism anyway? Reality bites!

I imagine a lot of young males loving the skimpy armour, lol, I'm sure it's all apart of their fantasies. There are a few skimpy armour mods for men which I find amusing. I'll just have to create a male character to play with and download some skimpy outfits to make him run around in. Perhaps then I'd better appreciate the sexy armour mods. :P (YUM!) LOL!

Omg, know what? I forgot about Companions and the companion share mod. I finally got my companion share mod to work right and with the companion share, hehehe, I can dress up the men in the game with skimpy outfits. Weeeeee, okay, if you can't beat them, join them. Why didn't I think of this sooner? Okay, going to download some hot hunky mods for males!
