NuclearWinterLover
I always thought that steel plate armour was lacking in mass around the waist, and the way it was modeled made it feel top-heavy, while leaving the hips looking vulnerable. My idea was to add the side leg guards from Tsun's armour to steel plate, while also retexturing them to use the vanilla Steel Plate armour textures so they'd be affected by things like amidianborn steel plate armour. http://i.imgur.com/pRhrsPa.jpg The part of the armour covering the outer thighs is what I'm talking about. If possible, I'd like it to be done without the loincloth and the part of the belt that goes over the stomach. http://i.imgur.com/lz98rVo.jpg This is where I'd like them to go. Suran329
Well, in my opinion the Steel Plate is the most realistic armor in Skyrim. The leg-protection looks similar to armors of the earlier 17th century. This doesn't look very fanatsy-like ultra heavy but would give more protection than strange hanging plates like the one from the Tsun-Armor whilest giving maximum mobility. ScottC12
Have you seen the the "Witcher 2 Style Dawnguard and Standard Heavy Plate" mod by Baraban? It has more historical European Medieval plate armor sets, with good leg protection and without the the "loin cloth". It might not be exactly Skyrim lore friendly, but it appears to be more like what you are asking for.... Also check out the Knights of the Nine and Matys Medieval Knights mods by Maty743 for Medieval style plate armors (ported from an Oblivion mod). ScottC12
And I forgot to mention the excellent "Witcher 2 Style Dawnguard and Standard Heavy Plate" mod by Baraban, which is great for Medieval style armor with a realistic worn and lived-in look.
