my friends and I all agree that the lack of dwarf races has marred tes. a quest to find the last remaining dwarf clan who went into hiding after the kagranec incident or something olong those lines would be appreciated by us, especially if they became a playable race after the end of the game!

This would conflict with lore issues. Kagrenac possibly used his tools (Wraithguard, Keening and Sunder) on the heart of Lorhkan (which he used to power the Numidium) when the Chimer entered Red Mountain during the War of the First Council and at that very moment all Dwemer vanished into thin air. An other theory also suggest that Azura imprisoned all the Dwemer in Oblivion for their blasphemy (trying to create their own god, the Numidium). The only fact is that the Dwemer all vanished without a trace.

The only remaining Dwemer we know of is Yagrum Bagarn and he claimed to have been in the "Outer Realms" (meaning outside of Nirn, the plain of the mortals) when the other Dwemers vanished. Thus it is possible that other Dwemers are still on Nirn, because they were also in the Outer Realms when the other Dwemers vanished. But this is unlikely, since Yagrum Bagarn said that he wandered Morrowind for a long time, searching for others of his race, but didn't find any.

ok all, heres what i know for fact, that bethesada is trying for a more medieval look in this game, rather than the fantastical, morrowind, setting, so this means, apparently according to some interviews i have read, that, Magic, is more controlled, you can expect realism: weight gain, hunger etc, etc, and lastly i believe they say you can only be imperial, but do get to see the odd nord and dark elf in the game,

Err, where did you get these "facts" from? None of that has been said before, and it would be a terrible mistake if they were true.

edit: looking over Dark0ne's FAQ, your "facts" contradict statements in other interviews

Supposedly all playable races from Morrowind will return, and they are planning to make magic more powerful/useful than in Morrowind.
