I like the fact that you can learn multiple magic classes. Being limited to one severly dampens one's freedom in playing their character, especially in a game such as Morrowind. Just because you agrred to an oath, doesn't mean you have to obey it. Sure, it would be "wrong," but so is stealing and killing.

I want a major change in thieving - no more "based on stats." In MW, if you became invisible, people could still see you if you stole anything.

From Merriam-Webster:

1: Incapable by nature of being seen; inaccessible to view; hidden

2: Imperceptible...

In MW, someone could also "sense" if you stole something, even if you weren't in their line of sight. This needs to be fixed. If someone can't see you, they can't attack you.

The telepathic crime-reporting needs to go as well.

"Cheap is Painful" for enchanting and spellmaking---either you add harmful effects and get a lower price, or choose to pay a lower price and risk bad effects/poor quality.

Also, am I correct that Cast-on-Strike will be WAY more effective now that a hit is...well, a hit?

all good ideas, but what really needs to happen is there needs to be differences based on class like in morrowind being a thief or a knight really didnt affect anything other than stats, but it would be better if people knew you were a knight and came to you to help, or if you were a healer people came to ask for potions and such, another thing that should be integrated into the magic engine is that you cannot just automatically buy spells you have to be a certain level to buy or even contemplate casting a certain spell, or serious physical retribution would encur.
