[Forum] Issue with More reply options when replying

Within the past few days at least every time I use the "more reply options" button in order to reach the post preview in an existing thread, I am presented with a Cloudflare page that then reverts to the main forum page. If I do not save my post in an external editor, it is lost. I have ran virus scans with Microsoft's built in security tool as well as with Malwarebtyes. Cloudflare does not seem to recognize those scans or possibly something else is wrong on their end. If it matters, I am using Chrome on Win 10.

 

Suffice it to say, it gets annoying. Especially when I post something, then see it and realize that the formatting was off.

 

And to be thorough, when I make a new post that would create a new thread, the "preview post" button does what is expected without any noticeable interruption by Cloudflare.

 

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it already known and "being looked at"? Anything else I could try on my end to resolve this issue?

I get transfered to Cloudflare nine times out of ten whenever I write someone back via a PM, and sometimes with forum posts. It also happens every time I try to update my profile page. If I forget to save what I write to an external document (such as WordPad), then I lose absolutely everything and am forced to begin anew.

 

However, even if I do happen to have the good fortune to have everything saved on WordPad or something similar, all of my formatting is completely gone. The formatting process is ridiculously fickle to begin with--if I update any Articles or mod description pages, I end up going back in to re-edit them around five to six times just because the font size magically changed, the colour switched, the italics decided to go missing, or the paragraphs suddenly became nonexistent. Luckily Cloudflare has yet to torment me during any Article or mod description page edits, but if it would ever begin to do so, what is already a trial of supreme patience will become the stuff of nightmares.

I get this too, it's quite frustrating so I know you pain. CloudFlare likes to "pounce" on my when I haven't copied my post to my clipboard before submitting it. It seems that for long, complex posts that use a lot of BBCode, it triggers CloudFlare's security from the "Full reply" page, but I've not had the problem from clicking "Edit" in the post view.

I'll see if there's anything we can do, but in the meantime I'd recommend using the little switch in the top-left of the text editor to swap to BBCode mode, then copy the contents of the post to your clipboard if you're worried about losing it.
