Deleted3507349User
I can verify that the Steam version of Oblivion plays very well on Windows 8.1.
Striker879
Just curious Trucker ... are you using OBSE ver0021, and if so did it give you any grief getting it working?
Deleted3507349User
Yep, using the current OBSE, the unofficial patches, and a few mods. Runs beautifully. Alt-Tabbing can glitch it out though, do that at your own risk (save first). I also have Steam, and thus the games themselves installed directly on my C drive, NOT in the Program Files folder. DutchGreenWizard
I have 8.1 myself Oblivion (and many other games) DONT work if they are installed before updating to 8.1. "simple" games can skip this, never forget "Alt-Tabbing can glitch it out though, do that at your own risk" -digitaltrucker.
astrob0y
Can also confirm Oblivion works with 8.1. Obse v.21 dosent work with my Oblivion (steam version). I need to use this thing from 2009: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-900993.html Also, alt tab works if you fake fullscreen with GameCompanion 2.4.
