Hi all , i'm new to FO3 modding so i'm looking for some expert help to solve a visualization problem.

The problem is that after modding i can't see some monsters , or better they are under the ground , they can hit me but i' can't hit them even with VATS ( who sohws 0% hit chance ).

I've modded FO3 from a virgin steam installation , steam autoupdater disabled to avoid overwrites , i got to test outside the vault , but every mod except this hateful problem seems to work.

Maybe i've unzipped something in the wrong position or i have set a bad load order , in the specific i found inside my data folder 2 sound folders and i don't know if is right to have that MMMF3 folder inside the texture folder.

Here you are some screen of my load order and folders , thanks for any help incoming :)

MMMF3 belongs to Mart's Mutant Mod, don't go removing it. You should only have one sound folder, called 'Sound', the one you've got there called 'Sounds' has obviously been added by a mod that probably doesn't have any sound since its folder is named wrong. As for your problem, generally the way to troubleshoot something like this is to remove mods one at a time and see which one is causing the problem.

Not always but , most of the time if you have a solid ground or floor hit F key and that drops the object to the floor that should be enough for where they have to stand you should be okay by doing that .

Try this link also , its a tutorial for mod loading and setup;

Thanks , i've tried disabling some mod but no changes , it semms that the modified monsters by MMMF are not showing , because the ones who seems standard monsters are always visible .

Now i've passed the vault , i've waited the 4 days in a empty place like suggested by the MMMF mod , but now i'm having random crashes ... damn ... :(

After hours of tests i'm without ideas.

Can anyone show me how must be a correct data folder ?

I mean i have a 3/4 subfolder with mods names in the data folder , this folders have inside subfolders with the same name as data folders ( texture , Character .... ) do i have to merge them or they must be separated ?

Now that i've reached outside Vault 101 i have invisible monsters , ex dogs with only eyes displayed .... damn newbie :(

this folders have inside subfolders with the same name as data folders ( texture , Character .... )

ur doing it wrong

basically mods should be extracted to another folder; say ...Fallout 3/ExtractedFiles

move the stuff from the mods (esps, and textures, meshes, etc..)

into fallout 3/data

activate mods in in FOMM

Thanks a lot , i'm going to read those topics at home :thanks:

Btw , i've done a reinstallation of the whole mods in the way you suggested , less problems but still something is wrong ...

So you say that in the "data" folder i must have nothing else that the esp/esm and sound , texture and meshes.

I ask because one of the mods installed , now that is working , have his "modname" folder inside "texture" folder , exemple :

data/texture/MMMF3/texture/alotofnameshere

oo FOOK

awesome mod, a pain to get right because of the shear size

make sure that you have all the current files

you need all 3 parts : main files parts 1-3

or, if you already had version 1

you might have forgot this:

FOOK v1.5 Patch files
