myrmaad
I just want to know what you guys prefer when openning a mod find a "BSA" or find a Textures/Meshes Files ???I always prefer textures and meshes but that's because I examine everything. I unpack an OMOD into folders prior to allowing it into my game, and leave it unpacked when installing in 99% of all cases. I unpack most BSAs as well, simply so I can see them better. I have run into at least one case where the BSA didn't work and I had to unpack it to get the game to recognize it (but that was for Morrowind). Probably something to do with my habit of keeping my Data Folder in an organised mess.

I'm not sure any of the changes I made to it are relevant. I'm also running MwSE and MWE which call each other in succession in order to even load a game with them all enabled, so it's spaghetti. Unpacking the BSA worked well.
xxXEvandarXxx
Textures and meshes, it's easier to if I want to take a look at them, or modify them if I need to.

simonp92
BareSexyAwesomeness!! seriusly, the BSAs are easier to install. and if a user wanna look at the models and textures, the users can unpack them, them selves.. PS reaper, it seems like you dont know about the mod section for oblivion.. since this is the third tread of yours about mods, which i´ve seen in this section.. just saying it.. Germandeathkittiez
I hate textures and meshes, bunch of oddly organized folders i can't understand, but bsa files most of the time don't seem to work for me, they must get overwritten in load more easily. Textures/meshes/sound etc appears to be more concrete.
SavageArtistry
It depends. If it's a large or complex mod then I usually prefer .bsa's. If it's armor, weapons, hair, eyes or race I prefer folders simply because I have my own compilation .esp's that I just add the new item to.
