This post has helped me many times, but does anyone know where a more detailed tutorial can be found regarding the exact nature of the shading flags? i.e. what each setting actually means, etc. (text over videos, if possible please)

I googled for a while and wasn't able to find anything specifically and it seems the old in-depth Nifskope tutorial linked int eh OP is long gone (fair enough, seeing as the post is four years old).

Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks!

I know this is way late, but this is for anyone who may looking for similar info. There is a little bit of info about what each shader flag does in the interactive help built into nifskope, however, I don't know how accurate, or old, all of the information is. You can enable it in the help dropdown menu. You did ask for a more detailed tutorial related to the shader flags. I'm sorry I don't currently know of one, not that it does not exist. If anyone knows of one please post it here.

Simply put, the depth of field shader doesn't work quite right in a transparent material, it's a lace cape, but no matter how much I tweak the depth of field settings, the blurring of the cape always follows the background. Edited by MUXTERR
