  1. Hello there! I'm working over expansion of my follower mod (here it is). And I faced the issue, that it is very hard to test and debug it in game. For example, now I'm adding to 1 follower some reactions when it is in caves and dungeons. When I test conditions I need to change plugin in CK, save it, launch game, load save, take follower, teleport to cave and wait... no WAIT AND PRAY that dummy will say the line I wanted. But I have plans to add more voicelines that will play in different situatuions. And I have feeling, that I'm doing something wrong. Is there any more fast way to force NPC react in way I wanted to? For example, dunno, how Interpreter console in Visual Studio works. Or Unit Testing. I checked forum with "debug" and "debug npc" requests. I found some interesting articles, but they not cover my issue. Thanks for you attention.
  2. Seems it is the right topic for my question. I want to create a mod with bunch of custom followers of my taste. And I almost did it. I faced only 1 problem and I can't find solution for several days. So, what I want: make several followers with builded in RaceMenu faces with hairstyles with physics from KS Hairdos SMP. I did almost everything and I can see my followers ingame, but I can't export hairstyles with SMP. When I export head meshes with that hairstyles I see static and deformed hair on my followers. For now I found out two ways I can see hair with physics on my followers in game: - Make follower face with hairstyles I want in CK without export face mesh (no CTRL + F4) - cons that faces are black and I can't use generated in RaceMenu face; - Make for followers outfits with wigs - in that case I can use my RaceMenu faces, but this is not exactly what I want. So the question is: is there any way to use KS Hairdos SMP hairstyles in my followers without wigs? Or this is the only option?

  4. Ф Ahahaha! I did it! The problem was in BSDismemberSkinInstance block. When I edit partition values and adjust it in CK, everything appeared ingame! Now I have 2 more objectives to complete my mod and upload it on Nexus: 1) Add Bodyslide; 2) Merge normals and speculars in one texture. Maybe you should add to your plugin some feature about this partitions? Maybe, to give user choice before export with which partition this meshes should be connected, dunno? I should say it again: your plugin is awesome, dude.
  5. SOOOOOOOOOO I'm back. I solved texture problem by compressing dds diffuse maps with BC1. I still have to learn magic of combining normals and speculars in one file, but this is not in priority. Nif files in Nifscope and armor addons in CK look good and complete. But in game - boots appeared partially, and shorts (I want players to have possibility to wear shorts and top separately, if they want) completely not showing. WTf? What could it be?

  7. OOOOOOOK. I don't know how it relates to your plugin (maybe completely not), but I will appreciate, if you can help me somehow. So I made a esp and wear my modded armor ingame :D 1st - boots and body parts are too large. Maybe 10 times, I don't know - SOLVED - my stupid. I didn't apply mesh transforms in Blender. 2nd - gloves not large (good) but very deformed (bad) - SOLVED - see previous point. 3rd - normal map is working (good) but color map not - ingame meshes have even purple color - still actual. Looking for solution. 4th - some strange behaviour of boots armor part - in nifscope all objects are on the place, but in game present only 1 object from 6. Anyway, I see that it rigged somehow. - CANCELED - the rig is fine! Your plugin and veight transfer option works great together! I rig my armor in several clicks! Bless you, bro! A WISH: add feature of applying mirror modifier while exporting, please.
  8. How I will understand if I did everything right? How I can check if rig exported fine? I'm a total newb in nif format.
  9. OOOOOOOK. Nice tool: I used it to import body, feet and hands to Blender and rig my armor. And I have no idea, what to do next) How to export my rigged meshes to nif? Do I need to perform some preparations, dunno? My armor separeted between 3 blend files: gloves (1 object), boots (6 objects) and body - top (5 objects) and shorts (5 objects). Should I merge it? Or what? Thanks.

  12. For some reason, it took for me several attempts before I finally can see property value in MCM menu. So, from now on, my script is fully operational!
  13. I guess, I fixed the problem: there were incorrect condition of loop break after fixing all stored actors. I still need some testing, but I'm sure everything will be fine. And thanks a lot for your advice and code example! I used it in my actual script revison. Two more things: 1 - how to transfer data from my base script to MCM script. I want to see number of actors stored in array through MCM, but the property value is always equals 0. 2 - on init default hotkey is "ESC". I saw in other mods, that default value could be "???'. How to get it?

  15. Two scripts inside: one with logic, second with MCM. I have feeling, that I not properly understand logic of Papyrus. My feeling is, that when my function FixActorHDT try to undress/redress armor slots it executes commands not sequently, but parallel. UPD: i guess i have problems with attachments. I will upload it to cloud and give a link
  16. Sooooooo, I made a script. It, partially, works, but there is one thing, that is worrying me most of all. When I press the mapped button, script runs (mostly, it needs some modification to make all functions properly), but only once. If I press button again - nothing happened. I track it with Debug.Notification. Can someone tell me, WTF is that?
  17. Hello there! Briefly: I'm not a newbie in OOP, I know the basics and I want to make a simple script. I need some documentation about Papyrus and Skyrim scripts, because all links I found is broken. For instance, this one: Papyrus Reference Guide. Examples of well documented scripts also suits. UPD: Solved. I found out documentation on Creation Kit site. --- Not briefly: Input: - Extensible Follower Framework - to have 3 followers with me simultaneously; - New HDT Physics for KS-SG-HG Hairs - to have beautiful hair with physics as wigs to my followers. The problem: I have a party of 3 followers. To each follower a gave a wig from New HDT Physics for KS-SG-HG Hairs. This looks amazing. But sometimes the hair of my followers look glitchy: it is visually anchored in space, causing hilarious graphical artifacts. Funny, but it makes me pissed of. This glithes can be fixed by undressing/redressing wigs, but it is a bit annoying to start save with redressing 3 wigs. You can notice, that there is a good mod to do this named Toggle Options, but I need to redress only wigs (this is essential) placed in 31 armor slot. UPD: I also desided to expand my fixing script on HDT animal ears and tails from HDT Tail wearable mod. Possible solution: Make my own script to redress wigs, of course! The plan: 1 - I guess that I need a code to put my followers as actor objects to array/list/set, to have a possibility to perform redressing operation on each actor. No idea how to realise it in Papyrus; UPD: Solved. I use array of actors. 2 - I think it is better to use a pressing a hotkey as start event trigger. I have some guides about it; UPD: Solved. If object appeares in crosshair and the object is an actor, script places it's reference in variable. Pressing hotkey places this variable in array of actors. Also, there is a check for doubles inside array, and script generate notification about doubles. Question: when my mode initiates, default hotkey is "ESC". I saw in other mods, that while initiating all default hotkeys have value of "???". How to get it? 3 - I need a variable to store a wig object everytime the script is performing on actor object. I guess this object type should be called "armor" or "pieceOfArmor" or something, dunno. Can someone give me a short description of objects using in scripts? UPD: Solved. I thought, that I need to undress/redress glithy HDT objects, but I was wrong. Decision: remove HDT object from target's inventory and put it back with RemoveItem() and AddItem() functions. 4 - script body. I think it should look like this: myArmorVariable = "unknown method" Function UnequipItemSlot(31) Function EquipItem(myArmorVariable) So here I need help with the method of how to define armor variable and with the EquipItem function. As I understood, I should put as argument object ID. I want to make this script a bit flexible and avoid the need of making a solid definition of redressing objects by IDs. How to get it? Like this: Function EquipItem(myArmorVariable.GetItemID())? UPD: Solved. Thanks IsharaMeradin for help! 5 - what is Alias in Papyrus? Do I need to use Alias to solve this task? UPD: I still don't have clear inderstanding, what is Alias and what coud be done with it. I used guide and make something with Alias reference in Creation Kit with quest of my mod, but, as I mentioned, don't understand completely what I've done. I faced some problem I have never seen before and I want to ask community for possible solution. Input: Custom UNP body;2 packs of clothing for UNP body, aprox. 100+ items. Facing the problem: I installed through Vortex 2 packs of clothing I downloaded outside of Nexus and tried to convert new outfits with BodySlide for custom UNP body of my character. And I was “surprised” when I saw, that this outfits didn’t appeared in body/outfit drop list of BodySlide utility. I checked archives with this packs and yes, there weren’t directories with BodySlide presets inside. Objective: Somehow Palpatine has returned I want to use this clothing with my custom UNP body and slider morphs. So I need to generate BodySlide presets and other things. My current vision of resolving this: 1st: make some magic with Outfit studio. But I didn’t use it before at all and I don’t have any idea what to do and what sort of guides I should look for. Essential to keep in mind that this 2 packs containing 100+ items, so it is preferable to have some option similar to “Batch build” in BodySlide. 2nd: write some script that will make needed conversions. I analysed other installed outfits that have slider options and for now I don’t see any problems to do this. Script should gather names of all new items, put them in one file and make it with .xml extension. That’s all, I guess? Is it possible to make it work? 3rd: use some additional utility, but I have no idea what it should be.
