Mark a mod in some way so I don't keep redownloading it?

being able to hide a mod on my download list because it's the Oldrim version wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, would it?

Well, as for that, if you look at your download history while on the Skyrim SE main Nexus page it will only show you mods from Skyrim SE.

Same for any other game.

So, getting Oldrim mods mixed in with your SE mods shouldn't be an issue.

Since I pretty much only DL mods for the Fallout4 game... I didn't know that, about only showing mods you've DL'd, when you're on one game's site.

That's good info to know!

Thanks for sharing, Showler!

to remember that a mod was not one of the "good" ones i just rename it and add a letter, in my case an "x" and i deactivate it . it is simple, fast and reliable. in case i'm not sure i add a "T" for test. problem solved at least for me.

Personally, if I download something and manually install it, and it ends up breaking everything after I replace files with it, it's better to start over from scratch.

I've started making backups, but without backups it'd be like I mod the game to my liking.... then idk a damn year or two later I load it up, time has passed, things changed, I don't remember what or why I downloaded something. I download something else. Everything is screwed. Nothing I do unscrews it. No disabling or uninstalling mods. My only option is to delete everything and start over. Especially after a year or two or three, surely you've deleted your download history to free up space, not anticipating a mod to screw everything up a year later.

Idk man just another perspective to think of...
