Feltorn Von Dentai Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 Wandering towards Tenpenny tower at night, had made a new game you see, and because I was using MMM, I had been attacked by a couple night ghouls. Nothing new there... Untill I reached the skeletal remains of a house, where 3 more jumped me, I finished them off quite easily... but then I heard the footsteps... Started quiet, in the distance, but then it got loud! Hundreds of footsteps, I turn around... Horde of 40+ night ghouls, coming at me through the darkness! You have not truly expierencnced MMM untill you have run screaming through the night with a horde of blood thirsty, glowing eyed zombies racing after you. Tertisentar Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 Night ghouls with Fellout is also a rather unpleasant experience at that, not seeing a thing when you're out in the wastes by accident, hearing lucy scream 'oh no' and arming herself while not having a clue what the hell is going to jump on you, and then you see glowing eyes within the total darkness running for you. I just got done testing out one of my ports and had killed all the raiders and then i went to leave through the front door. Then right as I'm about to exit through the front door, literally a nano second before I press e to exit I hear little kids giggling. It was extremely subtle and quiet like it was being whispered in my ear. i just stopped dead from doing anything it gave me the chills. Then i thought there's that jail/cage full of little skeletons right in front of the door plus its a elementary school. I turned around expecting to find a random encounter or a ghost or something but nothing was there. I searched around looking for the source but never found it. I went back to the door thinking maybe it will happen again but it never did...I was never able to replicate it i was gonna post up asking if anyone ever heard it before. Turns out I have a crap load of music for ambiance that i was still testing out, so i hadn't heard all the tracks yet. Figures that the giggling is contained in one of the tracks but it was so creepy cuz the timing was so perfect :ninja: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

First play through of the game, I went to the technology museum in DC to get that dish needed for GNR's mission from three dog. Well I've always been interested in science/technology and have been to that museum in real life as well. so i was looking around like a typical tourist as i killed the super mutants that were inside. got to the planetarium and it started talking and lighting up, i was like this... is so... COOL. so im staring at the ceiling as all of a sudden i hear " AHAHAH! I FOUND YOU" and 2 super mutants come in guns a blazing. scared the hell out of me, since i just came from that direction so i figured it was clear to look around. Although fallout 3 isn't really "scary" it's quite startling at points haha. good game ^_^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like once i saw a raider who was stuck in the ground with just his head sticking out of the pavement in the middle of the street. He was shooting at me but since his body was clipped under the street he couldn't hit me. I thought to myself "a wasteland full of lawn mowers and none of them work". Then one time i exited my Megaton house and a BOS soldier came out of nowhere like he left the house with me and ran around Megaton for a second and then left..i got screen shots of that one. I've seen the purified water random encounter with a wastlander standing on top of the fridge...got pics of that too. I've seen people wearing unlikely armor....like raiders wearing power armor (like where did they get the training from???) and Casdin wearing BOS armor (since they're sworn enemies that was kind of odd). Every now and then when i leave Megaton there'll be a raider standing right outside the door...how did he get past the protectron and the sniper?
