Spiderman Mods Break Launcher

I have recently attempted to mod spiderman on vortex, I downloaded the modding tool through vortex and everything was working fine,

Then suddenly it stopped working and the launcher was different (file attached below), when I selected start it refused to load.

Just before this happened I got a message in vortex saying deployment requires elevation which I did not fully understand but followed the prompts anyway, I feel this may be what caused it but I am not sure.

The game then cannot be played until I verify the files on steam thus removing all mods.

 

I would really appreciate an help anyone has since I was very much looking forward to modding this.

I am using Vortex 1.6.8 on a Windows 11 64 bit system

 

 

 

*Edit* I tried to attach a pic but it wasn't letting me. The pic was the launcher except all of the selections were in full captials with "LAUNCHER_" in front of them.

This is the game updating which causes problems with Spider-Man PC tool.

 

Do the following. Disable all mods. Delete the TOC and TOC_BACKUP files in the asset_archive folder.

 

Verify the game on Steam.

 

Open the launcher to check that it's back to normal.

 

Start modding again.
