thebeast505
Hi I'm looking for the best mods that being necromancy to skyrim here are the ones I've found and want to know if I'm missing any.Corpse preparation true necromancy: very good mod except that there is a limit of 3 undead that you can have raised which I feel limits the power of the necromancer to have guards. Is there anyway to remove this limit?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35378/?Vile art of necromancy: AMAZING mod one the best one I've found so far, my favorite part being the dissection of bodies, however the reanimated when told to wait seem to "freeze" up after leaving the area and into deactivate once told to follow again. However it's still a good mod with lots of amazing and fun features, it's worth getting just for the new artifacts, soul stealing, and dissecting for gruesome body parts to decorate your lair or laboratory.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12094/?Undeath: great mod with amazing locations , a GREAT quest and lovely lich form as a reward. I think it wod work we'll mixed with another necromancy mod for actually raising the dead. Last I heard though it had some major bugs.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40607//?Psikotics necromancy mod: looks good while not technically raising the dead it does add a amazing amount of necromancy perks to the conjuration tree to customize your army and would compliment other necromancy mods well.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16394/?Lord of the dead: pretty good but as far as I saw just added some basic necromancer perks. Perfect for someone who doesn't want a major overhaulhttp://erkeilmods.altervista.org/skyrim/lord-of-the-dead/Skyrim redone: although not technically a necromancy mod this huge overhaul does add a nice necromancy system to the conjuration tree that lets you obtain body parts from killed enemy's and use them to summon undead minions. Deffinently worth looking at but not for the short term game, if you install skyre be prepared to start a new character if you want to remove it.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9286/?Well that's all that I know of. If there's any other major necromancy mods out there please let me know as I am still looking for my perfect necromancy mod. Thanks! EnaiSiaion
See which necromancy mods are Requiem/SkyRe compatible. This should severely reduce the size of that list because there is no point in playing the game without an overhaul mod. Then go from there. Then go from there.after trying skyre i think i prefer vanilla skyrim, sure i love the perks that are added and its all very cool but skyre messes with the rest of the game to much imo by changing the armor values and weapons. is there another overhaul that only changes perks that you would like to mention? i haven't found any good ones yet. oh by the way i love your apocalypse spell package mod! i can't wait for your destruction and conjuration packages to come out please add some nice necromancy based spells into the conjuration one! :)
1LTD1
Thank you for providing this list. Vile Art of Necromancy and Corpse Preparation both look awesome. I wonder if running them both is just asking for trouble. Tragically underrated mod called "Named Souls In Gems" would make a beautiful addition in mod list of any proper necromancer.Too bad it is probably incompatible. Knowing whose souls you are piling on mantelpiece is a very atmospheric ability! Edited May 6, 2014 by 1LTD1
