Share your thoughts about modding in an interview study

Recommended Posts

We are researchers from the Human-Centred Computing group at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford where we explore the cheating phenomenon in online games. We are currently conducting a study to understand the user experience of modding, and highlight areas of improvement in the existing usability and playability in games.

We are currently looking for users who are above the age of 18, have experience modding in Soulsborne games and speak English. There will be a 1:1 text-based interview, lasting about 25 minutes, about your play experience. You will not have to reveal your real identity to the interviewer.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this survey: https://forms.gle/7X9nJbyTF33cq3rK7. This survey should take no more than 2 minutes, and we will be in touch shortly with you with more details.

Do feel free to contact Sel on Reddit (r/OxfordGameResearcher) or Discord (@OxfordGameResearcher#0155) if you have any questions or to find our email address. Many thanks!

This study has been approved by the Central University Research Ethics Committee (CUREC) at University of Oxford (Approval Number: R77226/RE001).
