DagonTheranis
Ok, forget my idea, that's awesome! Hold On, just thought of something. If we're going to colour ilian's armour red and black, shouldn't we change the colour of the symbol from red? Or is there not that much red? kieranfoy
maybe cuirass black and the rest a mix, all we need is a shieldpm sendTake the city gaurd shield and put Illians Symbol on it. I actually designed the symbols with shields in mind, after all. Make it look fancy with a gold border around it, maybe.
DagonTheranis
I think that you should use the general shape of a daedric shield or spell breaker. I also just realised that the dwarven shield is the perfect shape for those spirals for the priest.
kieranfoy
I think that you should use the general shape of a daedric shield or spell breaker. I also just realised that the dwarven shield is the perfect shape for those spirals for the priest. None of those meshes are suited to displaying symbols on them, though. Retexted dwarven for the priests, sure, but the main purpose of the soldiers shields (aside from the obvious) is to show Illians symbol, yuh? Town guard shields, on the other hand, are designed SPECIFICALLY by Bethesda to be PERFECT to show images and seal, since they all have the symbol of their town. It's one round surface, exactly what I designed the symbol for.

kieranfoy
eh..yeah...What I meant is this... http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/9501/shieldo.png Looks nice. I didn'tmean for people to take my symbol and just put it directly on the shield. I just threw it together in MSPaint for reference, so someone woud recreate it with proper straight lines and corners that match up. But it actually looks good.
