(Needed to backup, delete Windows7 beta and install Windows7 RC on 3 pc's) So my afternoon/evening was wasted.... haha.. even thought I lost the mod, fortunately it was safe after all.... -- So it seems the new emperor will get some trouble with fake relatives?Could indeed bring some change....Any idea where and when they will attack, or how?Well if any has idea's...bring them....if all are already off.. well.... goodbye :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well the fake relative would have to claim that he was a legitimate son of the septim bloodline, otherwise no one would care and theyd go with Martin(if you were emperor then hed be above you but make him a fake legitimate son anyway). He'd have to be imperial otherwise everyone would know hes lying.Also there has to be a way to prove hes fake, otherwise its gonna end up with the fake descendant on the throne. But when the amulet is restored. Everybody can see that its not a relative at all.(Cause he/she couldn't wear the amulet.) Hmm perhaps this fake relative should also be the reason Ocato calls upon you in the first place. Maybe he'll reveal that sometime later on? Anyway. Will not be present in the next eight hours. Aragorn1234567891051 Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 How about this: instead of doing an attack only in a parade with the Emperor, Cyrodiil could be attacked just after you talk to the MDA, putting all the pressure on you, to bring the Emperor back or become the new one, so you can stop the attack.But this will ruin the fake descendant idea(or maybe not, he could only say "I'm here to stop the attacks and restore order to this place" or something like this).If you use this idea, when you arrive in the IC to tell that you are their new Emperor(or Martin is back) the people are following the fake descendant that is using a mundane amulet with red jewel of the size of an apple in it. and is lighting the dragonfires with a magic or something, and you have to prove who is the real empero(if it is Martin they will say that when a man die he die, if you are the emperor they will say that you are the champion of cyrodiil but you aren't a Septim). Building pressure would be a good idea. But being under attack already.....Perhaps that would be a bit too similar with the MQ. The threat itself could be explained...hey.... .....how about, that the prisoner isn't a myhtic dawn agent. But some agent from the fake descendant.We could keep the information about the plot itself, until a later stage.The player would only know, that someone is looking for it. The agent shall then be the only one that knows about it...So that the fake descendant would try to find other ways to become an emperor (all that aragorn said.) Maybe other agents would attack the player in some of the quests, or in any other way being involved. (Lying death near the dragon :P) Ah well just a suggestion. what do you all think? Slawter500 Posted May 7, 2009 Author Share Posted May 7, 2009 Its not bad but if the fake descendant was arrested Ocato wouldnt even take interest, if hed been ranting about a new emperor he would have presumed him a nutjob and thrown him in an unimportant cell. Personally id perfer a MDA at the start of the quest. Also you said that the fake descendant would strike when he thought the amulet was destroyed he would know nothing of how to restore it and probably wouldnt tell it to his troops if he did. Story wouldn't fit completely, cause why couldn't other agents perform the same task.A single MDA-agent could however.... Llright. But what and when will it all happen? Like, when do we first see the fake-descendant. (Cannot kill him at that point)Or does Ocato tell about him. Or perhaps Ocate doesn't know at all.Like you will tell between the amulet and dragon quest, cause you've seen the descendant from afar or something.Well..., how are we going to do this :) ?
