DagonTheranis
Well, it was gold coast if I'm correct, so it should probably be a fairly wooded landscape, with the actual city in the middle. OA itself should probably be on a sort of plateau in the landscape, so as to avoid having a v-shaped town. I alson think that we should include a landmark or two, just so the landscape doesn't seem bland. P.S. Au Revoir Kieran You sarcastic man. You're going to be missed. L33Nexus
No, were waiting for some lands still to be done. :P C'mon guy's let's get this done :D
Slawter500
Patience people. If you want it to be done quicker, for now you may aswell brainstorm OA's landscape, as Dagon is doing.
Argomirr
Hm. Partially Gold Coast valley, partially woodland? That would add some variety to the landscape. And I agree on the landmarks, we should definitely add two or three. Perhaps something natural, like a small lake? I also think we should put a few houses and farms outside the city. Maybe also a woodcutter's camp somewhere in the forest-y area? You sarcastic man. You're going to be missed.True.
Slawter500
Page has been stretched by Armageddons sig :P Hmm. How about a hunting lodge, instead of woodcutters cabin?
Argomirr
That's probably better. We can add packages to the hunters so they'll hunt for stuff, but woodcutters would just stand around doing nothing.
Slawter500
Agreed. Perhaps a small side quest could be added to a hunters lodge aswell. A short one such as finding a lost bow or arrow. Maybe a particular catch he's interested in. But that would be added later. So a cabin outside of Open Arch, but not far off. He could have AI to travel to open arch, and then head into a shop maybe. So he could act as if selling his wares. ---------------------- Ok so far we have a cabin, valley, gold coast/woodland combo. What else.
Argomirr
I still think we should plunk a farm somewhere, and maybe we should put a market in OA? Not like the IC Market District of course, I mean a market with smalls stalls and people selling stuff on the streets etc. We could use this for that. [EDIT]We could also throw in some scripting, and make the market only appear during weekends or something similar. That would make the town feel a bit more alive. Slawter500
I'm warming to the market idea. Hmm. How about a farm for animals, another for crops? Also maybe a vineyard?
