Failed to Run Tool (Skyrim SSE)

Hey all,

 

I'm trying to get back into Skyrim after being away for a year or so, and on top of the GUI changes to Vortex, for some reason it does not see the path to the game.

 

Like, When I tell it to manage Skyrim, it automatically pulls the files location, when I click 'Manually Set Location' it opens its current location in the Steam folder right away. But when I try and actually LAUNCH the game, all I get is the Failed to Run Tool error, and when asking for more details, I get the message in the included picture.

 

Any idea what it is pitching a fit about?

Go to "Tools" on your dashboard and edit the one for SKSE. You have - at some point - pointed it to that random file instead of SKSE_loader.exe
