What companion do you want to see in the game?

So I was wondering what other people would like as a companion. I just kept thinking of what npc i should make an awsome companion but couldn't get anything. So post here what you would like to see as a companion in the game. Also the idea can not be from another mod, it must be from the vanilla game!

 

You want some inspiration? I'll tell you a companion that would be so awesome, it would create an awesome singularity and possibly rip reality apart. I think its obvious..

 

Macho Man Randy Savage!!! OOhhhh Yeahh!

 

Ohhh, No, He isn't in the Vanilla game is he.well , still, you know that would be a awesome companion. Just modify somebody else to look as much like him as you can lol

 

He is in Borderlands 2 as Mr. Torque. He likes explosions, and sandwiches.

 

I just don't know how to import a charecter from another game into fnv if you could tell me that would be awsome!

Pretty sure Gearbox would not allow it, presented only for amusement as most of us own more then 1 game. And those who like FNV and also are cursed with a warped sense of humor will probably also enjoy Borderlands / Borderlands2.

I could be wrong on what they will allow, as they allow user created tributes to their characters in other games. They recently allowed fallout NV to use their character voices as the player characters voice, although. They generally go along with anything which gives them free favorable publicity without costing them game sales.

Creatures not commonly used for companion:

Giant Rat (not molerat just the rats)

Ants (a miniature ant queen might be kind cute, name her princess lol)

Flying bugs

 

Very commonly used creatures:

Deathclaws

Geckos

Roaches

Matnis

Dogs

 

But really it does not matter, make something that inspires you.

Even if you had to use Mariposa assets, uncle Leo apparently is in the NV files according to fallout wiki. I personally would love a story quest similar to Raoul or Veronica for the supermutant philosopher.

 

That or hardwire a way to port fallout 3 sounds assets (player would have to do this at home) so that you could recreate RL-3 for Vegas. Kick legion ass the US Army way! Hooah!

I'm bumping this because I think everyone needs to be on board with a Macho Man Randy Savage companion..It would be so freaking cool.

 

I mean he already has a crazy multi-colored cowboy hat and a mighty beard...thats enough. Give him unarmed and melee proficiency, and a steel chair weapon...or do none of that,,just have him follow you around and say "ohhhh yeahhhh!"

 

That would be enough for me lol.

Check my linked WIP, one of the characters is a backslid preacher. Still has a bible and occasionally might muse on the contents.

hint: it is the guy with a shotgun (which happens to be named 'wedded bliss')
