My policy is to check mod pages, and install mod dependencies before I try to install a mod. I actually go to the dependency pages and make sure that they don't have dependencies, tunneling down to the lowest layer and start installing from there, if ya "grok" what I'm saying.

if not here's simple example:

suppose mod A requires some mod G, and mod G requires some mod P

install mod P, then install mod G, then install Mod A

This avoids dependency errors for that mod

Suppose instead that Mod A requires some mod G which in turn requires Mod P (like before)

but Mod A also requires mod B and Mod C

Again, Install mod P first, then Mod G, then Mod B and Mod C, then install Mod A

grok?

There's currently a bug in Vortex regarding Collections where installing a second Collection on top of a previous one disables all the mods from the previous one.

You can usually just go to the Plugins tab, Ctrl-A to select all, and then choose "enable" at the bottom of the screen.

Just make sure whether any of the plugins are SUPPOSED to be turned off, though.

Looking at the screenshot of error messages above, there's quite a clear picture: It looks like OP has installed patches for the paid "Anniversary Edition" upgrade, but the mods from it aren't there.

So, if you indeed own the paid DLC, make sure all the mods from it are actually installed ("verify game cache" in Steam).

If you don't have the paid "Anniversary" upgrade, don't install patches for content you don't have.

On a side note: Never follow any guide or modlist blindly...

^^^ This should be a post it in the help forum.
