sativa420
so, the new patch came out recently, have you seen this? have you heard about this? ...lol anyway, aside from Broken steel support and VATS issues, it also fixes the crashes due to loading up the game without a perk that you previously had... or as the patch notes puts it "Fixed crash related to altered references between master files" This is awesome! Personally, I use a $h!t load of mods, and so I came across the crashing problem sometimes. It was so annoying to have to go into the console, remove the perk and save again. I'm so glad Bethesda fixed this

Akadai
I've been using it ever since it was released. I've seen some people report more crashes than before, though my game is working completely fine. Mods are working fine. VATS is fixed, so that has made me very happy. I have had one very odd issue once when I loaded up a save (the whole world and every texture was blue) but a restart of the game fixed that and I haven't seen it happen again yet. And sometimes it crashes when I alt tab, but I don't do that very often anyway But yea, other than that, works perfectly fine. Glad to have my VATS working right again. Hoping Broken Steel isn't a let down
sativa420
Yea... of COURSE, as soon as i think something is cool, it turns out to be broken :P THANK you Buddha, you're the absolute man, tho I saw that thread before I came back here... Goddam it Bethesda, why hath thou forsaken thee?
Drazius
Patch 1.5 is completely borked. Anything in the Wasteland that isn't marked as a "Persistant Reference" will cause you to crash and will also make items disappear, as well as doors and who knows what else. If you're playing with patch 1.5, I would highly recommend waiting until a fix is released before playing more or you might screw up your save games. Are you really sure that the Patch is causing this? It brought a lot of improvements.
Akadai
I backed up all my saves anyway before patching. And I've been playing for many hours so far without any crashes. I don't think these bugs are effecting EVERYONE I don't know if it matters or not, but I also save my games through the console, because I hate how the game doesn't allow me to change the name of the save I've been playing for so many hours already I'm beginning to doubt I'll ever encounter these bugs that will crash my game. I guess more time will tell
phoneyLogic
Hm I read the Post from Quarn here: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=985364 and Bug#1 I already reproduced myself :/ But I`m not going back, because of the V.A.T.S. improvements. For me it was the 1st crash since nearly 4 months. Hope they fix it soon.
