Looking for some Body type suggestions

Im just getting back into oblivion after playing fallout 3 for quite some time, When i went to look for my mods i discovered they had all vanished somewhere, so im in the process of redownloading a ton from the site...

 

Im just wondering, there seems to be the three main downloads at the minute for female body times, the HGEC, Roberts Female, and Exnams.

 

I really love the shape of roberts female form, but i cant seem to find a lot of armours and outfits for it which makes me wonder if its worth downloading it to use

 

HGEC seems to be all dress's and anime outfits, nothing really along the line of fantasy oblivion, and as i love the fantasy setting, im unsure if this one is worth using either

 

then theres Exnams which has a mix of both, but seems a little confusing with its 12 or so different top and bottom matches, then trying to find outfits and armours to match the correct sets youve made could be a problem in itself..

 

So i just wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions to which body types they use, which has the most outfits available, and generally looks the best ingame while playing!!

I've tried several body types, even one Japanese body mod but I always seem to go back to Exnims. I think Exnims was one of the first body mods and as a result it seems to have more equipment made for it. While it doesn't appeal to everyone, nothing ever does, I believe it's the most versatile.

While I may be a HGEC user, don't discount Fantasy Figures

 

it may not have as many pieces of clothing as HGEC, but it's a pretty good body type that I think you should also take a look at

there's plenty of armors for HGEC.I use D cup madcats bod yand While I do release clothing I've also released plenty of armors as well.Your looking at the newest uploads here which is a lot of anime.Go into the weapons and armor catagory and look deep.

Well thanks for the suggestions, I did try out bab for a few days, while ive been looking around, but i was overwhelmed by the amount of broken files i was getting from the downloads of clothes and items, Big old "Missing Mesh" icons, So i guess, im going to try the HGEC.. Think Ill start off slow this time, not downloading 100+ outfits and armours and dumping them all in the game at once .. lol

I rather doubt there are many broken files.

You said you are not going to download a bunch and drop

them all in at once.

All at once is a sure path to disaster - missing meshes and textures - most often an

installation fault caused by rushing, not the mod. Take your time, and install no more

than two or three at one time.

 

I also favour the EXNEM/HGEC.

In addition to the others already mentioned is Roberts. It is very good, and

probably more realistic than HGEC. So it depends on how much you prefer realism

to wow factor. Not that there is no wow in real.... :cool:

Aya .. when i say broken files i actually mean the downloaded armour sets, the body shapes on the main character work perfect for any body shapes i download, and all of them look great, but i downloaded about 30 i want to say from a site, i forget which, and i extracted them all to a desktop directory, to make sure the mesh's textures were all organised, but when i put them in game (started a new character) i was carrying way too much and had to drop alot at the sewer exit, and all i saw was the big yellow star with "WTF missing mesh" in huge letters on it .. lol .. not to worry though, ive since redownloaded the bodytypes and not so many armours and now theyre working all perfectly as i can tell, now the only problem i have is some wierd glitch with me being unable to buy horse armour for some odd reason, it acts like i dont own a horse, but i made a seperate post about that under tech..

 

But yes, thanks again everyone, i did try out a few different types, i do like the Robert's mesh and the Bab and exnem's alot, but after seeing the race replacers for the argonian, orc and khajiit, that use the Hgec body, ive decided to go with that one for now .. do appreciate the comments tho, so thanks again!!
