I was just wondering - how hard would it be to make a good draenei or night elf race mod? Or hell, even something like tauren? I'd flip my lid if I saw a decent draenei race mod o.o

I have seen a very Draenei-esque type character before... apparently it was a Demon race with the wings clipped off, using Dark Seducer textures, and the horns from Ace's Warlock Gear.

 

Of course, this requires a little bit of knowledge how to do...but not too much. Hell, I'd probably try my hand at actually making a standalone mod for that thing, but I am getting absolutely mauled by university assignments right now. Maybe someone who has time might help?

I found the night elf mod, they look kinda creepy though. I like Cute Elves a lot better.

 

A well-done draenei mod would be absolutely amazing though, I think. It would be kind of tricky to capture the draenei body type though, if it's even possible.

not quite impossible. I don't know much about them, since I don't play wow, but there's a resource for cloven hoof legs, there's horns out the wazoo if you can find 'em in the larger mods, and we just need to turn something blue. other than that, the tail can be used with the argonian mesh and voila! Dranei.

they have some kind of.... *goat* feet, like poeple like to say. female have a little tail and some little tentacules (3-4) at bothe side of their jaws whil some male got bigger tail (back tail to avoid confusion) and sometime bigger tentacles on their face. only femal have horns with different shape and male have a larger forehead. they both have the *mark of the naaru* on their head as a racial blessing to allow them to heal themself or another persone. Their like *holy race or paladin race* that comes from another dimention. their skin is likely to be blue like or pale skin like or just sometime dark purple. (that the player can take care of it with a *blue start*. I think a major minotor tweak could help the making of character but I think armor and some body mods would have to be converted if not created just for that race. But I'd REALY REALY REEEAAAALLLYYYY like to see such a mod. I'd do it myself if I'd even knew HOW to mod.

Here are some more references for draenei looks. (P.S. their aint suppose to be fur on their legs or anywhere but the head and eyebrow. or so I choose to beleive 'cause am not *into* fur)

About such legs, you have to make a wearable leg with script. Check Argonian beautification or Khajiit feet to find out how-to-do.
