brokenergy
Remember the old days of youtube, where it was basically a video uploading site? Now it has become something of a fisaco, with Google deciding to link youtube to their Google + (I call it google crap personally) accounts into all in one google hub. I don't like it for two reasons; 1) I already use a social media site for keeping up with my social life 2) It removes that anonmity that some users love to hide behind, especially against harassment. Anyway, I feel that it is a waste of space and I am certainly not going to use youtube ever again till google get it together and learn that I already use a social media site and I don't need more compounded on me. What do you think?
Purr4me
Use Google for one thing only ,mail. and on that note, one browser, theirs. Use Firefox for all other things except Google things. Use IE for all IE related stuff. I seen this too "accounts into all in one google hub". Totally agree on that, Problem is, if they get too intrusive in to personal systems, stocks will fall, people will start blocking it. I have 5 browsers and keep a list posted next to the screen so I don't forget. None of the browsers are set as default. some random stuff does pop up and I find out who and what it is trying to put stuff on my drive. Downloads. I use no browsers for that. except ICE. right click /send to ICE. done, built in recursive recompile so no downloads get corrupted, drop off take place, storms set in and interrupt com's. Can't depend on servers to do the work intended. Use own stuff to get the right stuff in order. that's what I think. YouTube and Google +, a bad match. Loads way too much data.kitty
billyro
Never really used Youtube until recently, and this new stuff does my head in. Would be nice if the peps over there grew larger brains and fixed it...
Thor.
I don't use gmail for one, i use Hotmail instead, which i always have used. Youtube just for browsing videos, nothing more.
Iv000
Idk what the fuss is about. People are just too lazy to learn how new stuff works, it would take you 20 min to just learn the whole layout and you'd have 0 problems with it. You can also actually filter comments so it shows the ones with the most votes or the newest ones. You can also post links and there's no word limit. The update is okay, Google was never good at design so don't expect them to be now, just try and enjoy your infinite free videos by users created from all over the world that you'd never hear/see or know of without Youtube. If you actually took a few min to look through the layout, you'd learn that you can easily disconnect your Youtube and G+ accounts with just a few clicks. Click on your name, go to youtube settings, and click the link that says "Return name to *username*, and disconnect Google+ profile". Peeeeeeeople need to learn to get used to change and that not always things will be perfect and appreciate the things you have for free more and not take them for granted. I don't want to update to link my youtube account to my google + account and I shall put this in caps and bold just for everyone to understand, I ALREADY HAVE A FB ACCOUNT FOR SOCIALISING WITH MY FRIENDS, I DON'T NEED GOOGLE + TO BE WITH MY FRIENDS!!! I use youtube for other things and I don't need or want google +, why is it so hard for google to understand. Oh well, Vimeo here I come.
Werne
I actually hate Google, with their switch to Google+, I lost one of my YouTube channels completely, all videos gone. And now Google is apologizing to me for f***ing up everything I had uploaded there. @brokenergy I don't even have Google+, I removed it. Now I just have the YouTube account and GMail, so Google can go f*** themselves.

billyro
I'm using Google+, and there isn't any bad things I'm noticing about youtube. The only thing that annoys me is the new commenting system they've got. Just clarifying my previous post.
