LE I need help with a Silver dagger texture

Help wanted!

 

I've just started a new game with the Skyrim Unbound Mod.

I'm playing as a low level nord thief - with no magic or shouts.

 

I like the smaller size of the Iron dagger, and the lack of a bulky scabbard. But I want a silver version for backstabbing Vampires and ghosts.

 

Can anyone redo the texture on the Iron dagger, to make the blade a more reflective Silver color???

 

Bonus points if you can make the little leather sheath and the handle slightly darker to distinguish it from the regular Iron daggers.

 

 

I've already worked out the stats for my Silver Dagger on my own, and I added the "Silver enchantment".

But I'm a total Zero for the artistic side.

I also kind of agree that the iron meshes might have looked better after being recoloured, but at the time I used the basic steel meshes and textures as a base.

I highly recommend using the Lore Weapon Expansion mod. In addition to various new types of iron and steel weapons, it boasts a silver shortsword and silver dagger with all new meshes and textures.

Shadyblade - thanks for the link. I like what I see there - but I'm having trouble downloading it using the NMManager, and so I thought I'd wait and see how my own "mod" turned out.

I see that I can down load it manually - so I'll probably try that later. It looks really cool!
