Dark0ne
Amplitude is a music playing game, of the type where notes scroll down the screen, and the player presses corresponding buttons to "play" the notes. However, in Amplitude there are several "tracks", each corresponding to different parts of the song (e.g. bass guitar, vocals etc.), and the user can switch between tracks to play different instruments. By completing a bar of music, a track will continue to play itself for a few bars, and so it is possible to keep the entire song playing, for combo points. As an extra twist, the tracks are laid out in full 3D, like an 8 line road, with note capsules for cars, and floating in space, and on harder levels the game will do it's best to distract you from hitting the right notes at the right time.

Note: Strong epilepsy warning.
