Chivelfeyr
Even though the latest version of Vortex supposedly supports Skyrim GOG, I haven't been able to get anything to work with it. I've even re-installed Windows, Skyrim GOG, and Vortex and it still won't find GOG Skyrim SE/AE. I tried setting Vortex to Manage "Skyrim Special Edition" as well and had to point it to my installation folder for the GOG version. But, that didn't work either. I've used this for years with the Steam versions of Skyrim/SE/AE without any problem.I was only able to install "UNP Body Replacer", "Demoniac- High Quality Glossy Female Body Texture 8K 4K 2K - SE", and "SkySight Skins - Ultra HD 4K 2K Male Textures and Real Feet Meshes" and those worked. Everything else I tried refused to work despite showing them to be enabled in the Plugins List (including mods that didn't even need SKSE). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I've tried searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had this issue (and possibly a solution) but to no avail.
Solution Pickysaurus Posted September 30, 2022 Solution Share Posted September 30, 2022 Can you try going to the Game tab and finding Skyrim SE. Open the little menu on the game tile. Then do "Manually set location" and point it at your GOG version install folder. Then restart Vortex and check your plugins tab. Enable any missing plugins and start the game.
