User-Generated Mods with multiple Versions

So, I made two versions of the same mod, let's say Version 1 and Version 2.

I can add them to Vortex and install them without any problems, except they are listed as two seperate mods.

 

I know that for mods that were downloaded from Nexus directly, if you have multiple versions, you get this neat little dropdown menu.

Is there a way to achieve this for manually added mods?

The drop-down is created based on mod metadata from the website, so it's not currently possible to create them in the UI.

Seems like it would have been a useful feature.
