It is 1930. Due to circumstances he couldn't possibly have predicted, Tommy's life as a cabdriver is about to be exchanged for a life in the Mafia. At first he continues his work as a driver and nothing could be better. He soon becomes good friends with his sidekicks Paulie and Sam, and although the work is sometimes risky, he earns more money than he did as a cabdriver. But as time goes on he is ordered to undertake more and more unpleasant jobs – and he starts to become disillusioned with the life he has chosen.<br><br>GTA in the 1930's.

Bought it at Walmart for USD 10 a while back. Excellent atmosphere, good learning curve. The mission setup is a pain, you can't keep weapons at all. But it does have a freeplay mode, sooo...One time, I pulled a farmboy out of his truck, only to get whacked with a baseball bat. Fun, cheap, amusing. Mafia---GOOD.

I've played the demo, which took me about two days to complete on the hard setting, its just that tough. I'd compare it to Commando 2 for ahow hard it is. I'd have liked to get it when it was new, and sionce its now out on budget, and my PC is up to spec, i don't have an excus enot to. See ya... *toddles off to Amazon and purchases it, along with some books of a dubious nature*

Basicly, Mafia is one of the best games I have ever played in the 8 years I own a computer, the intense sphere, the great story line just make it a must-have game. Only negative thing I have to add about Mafia is the fact that the game is just way too short, great game nonetheless.

 

Anway I'm glad to hear that Mafia 2 is in production ^_^
