ltknight88 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 How do I prevent a player home from resetting the storage containers? I modified Hrodolf's house (on the island of Solsteim / Dragonborn.) I added an enchanter, alchemy, and the smithing benches. I also added a ladder to a trap door in Breezehome. But - every few days, the room resets, and I loose whatever I put in the chests and backpacks. How do I make a chest permanent - or reset free? Thanks!LTK
IsharaMeradin Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 You need to edit those container references to not respawn. You might even need to edit the base (give the base a new ID name thus creating a new container record so you don't mess with other containers with the same base record elsewhere) and mark it to not respawn.
ltknight88 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Thanks Isharamaradin! - but the room is also resetting itself. Potions and books and leather strips that are on the counter, respawn after I've already picked them up. Is there a way to make the whole cell not respawn?
IsharaMeradin Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I'm sure there is, but I've not dealt with that. It might have something to do with the encounter zone setting, but I am not sure.
Jokerine Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) You need to change the respawn zone (I think that was the name) to "NoRespawnZone" so the cell with stay the same forever  It's in the same tab where you edit the name of the cell. EDIT: I opened the CK to check, and I guess I had the names wrong, haha! If you navigate to the "interior data" tab, you'll see the name of the cell, and right under it, the "encounter zone" tab. Change that to "NoResetZone", and click apply, then OK. That should do it :) Edited November 13, 2013 by Jokerine
ltknight88 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 I think that did it. Thank you Jokerine and IsharaMeradin!!
