Need some review of/help with my Nif for Skyrim

Well, I decided to try my hand at bringing a custom mesh into Skyrim. The result was a week and a half of stress-inducing complications (don't we all know how that feels... lol).

The mesh itself works pretty flawlessly. The creation kit loads it fine, I can place the item in a cell and interact with the object, it's mesh perfectly visible. Thing is, the model is completely black. Its surface does reflect, but I get no textures as I should. Any help would be appreciated!

 

Oh, also, the mesh itself was made entirely by Blenderpy. I'm just placing it in the Skyrim universe.

In the BSLightingShaderProperty try using the environment shader instead of default, Then add the shader flag SLFL_Environment_Mapping, then move the _m texture to the 6th texture slot.

Modding IS a lot of fun! It can just get stressful after a bunch of failed attempts and no clue how to proceed...

 

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Still just a black mesh. I'm going to try re-making the UV mask and see if that does anything.

I took a quick look at it. There are no UVs.

If BlenderPy did create UVs for it, then it might come from an export issue. In anycase, this explains the blackish look, ingame.
